THE LOCUST SEASON TWO Dear JB reader,Am only written this article to correct social ills and not condem or judge anyone please.Thanks It's no longer strange this days in news,to hear different stories of people looting public funds,wasting the resources that's meant for the whole country directing it to their private account,spending it selfishly,taking it outside the country to store up their treasure. "The new saying now is,"one man's gain is another man's loss"as against our culture of communism in Africa which is "All for one and one for all". When a Prof once told his students that they are a wasted generation;it would have been sweet for someone to stand up to ask such Prof some question like, 1.When he was very young,he enjoyed free education,decent education and a lot of freebies and the world was better.This is pointing to the fact that their parents had good plans for them but why would anyone blame the youth of today for what we are presently experiencing. They(our leaders)are so selfish,they have no plans for the present and the future generation;but yet they regard us as wasted generation.Are we truely that? We are in the locust season and everything being devoured with nothing left over.Our resources are enough to please every of us both still many are still experiencing poverty. Will this continue to be? It all depends on the youth to make the positive impart to make such decisions that they we do all it takes to make the future be generation proud of us.We must stand for what is right.We must have a right thinking and stop corruptions for the locust season while and it will pass away but when and by who?.Thanks
